Where should I incorporate?

The most practical and least costly option is in the state where the business is located.  If you incorporate in a state other than where the business is located, then you must qualify or file for authority to do business in that state.  You may consider to incorporate in other states if the business is going to have multiple locations or if there are any state laws that apply to your particular business activity.
